Central Press is a privately owned printing house founded in the early 1960 by the late Yousef Hammad; known to be one of the first paper traders and a leading supplier of paper in Jordan. To meet the rising demand on school books at that time, he took the first step by establishing a small printing house in King Hussein Street, Amman in 1960. Following the establishment of the printing house in its first location, came the second phase, which was set in motion in 1978 with the move to our present location in Madaba Street; opposite to The Amman Custom House, where a gradual expansion in installed machinery and work area took place.
